The SOKO factory.
We, our clients and partners, believe that quality manufacturing can improve quality of life. This means an approach to manufacturing that respects the environment and supports a skilled, dynamic, local workforce. A workforce who produce high-quality clothing that our clients and their customers love and want to keep.
We work with clients from high street retailers to luxury brands translating their design concepts into beautiful sustainable, ethically produced pieces of clothing.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE.
Working with SOKO Kenya means not only the very best in manufacturing, but also making a lasting, beneficial impact on the communities around our factory, as well as the individuals producing your clothes and their families.
The Factory makes a difference in four key areas:
SUSTAINABILITY
Effectively managing fabric waste, water and power use to have as little impact on the environment as possible.
EDUCATION
Providing ongoing skills development, in-house training, career progression and up-skilling as the business grows.
HEALTH AND WELLBEING
Providing a free lunch at work, support and flexibility for single mothers, nursery support for the under 4’s, medical training and care.
FINANCE
Paying a living wage, an employee's pension and providing financial literacy training.

ENVIRO-IMPACT
- Since 2017 5,812 kg of factory textile waste has been diverted from landfill and used in other SOKO Kenya projects
- Having installed rainwater tanks, water used for drinking, steaming and cleaning is entirely self-sufficient due to rainwater collected from the roof.
- 25% of the Factory’s power requirements are generated from on-site solar panels
- Since January 2020 - 360kg of CO2 has been saved by using solar panels
